Steps to make brain teaser:
1.Sand wooden block to desired dimensions until it's smooth
2.Measure and mark wood for hole placement
3.Clamp down wood and drill holes on marked spots
4.Use bevel to make the wood look nice
5.Laser engrave name
6. re-sand

- Draw your design on graph paper, to scale 1”=1”
- Your design must be okay (checked off) by Mr. Sparks’
- Use a ruler for straight lines(no free hand)
- Create a material list (upper right corner)
- List all pieces required and the length for the build
- Check it off w/Mr. Sparks
- Cut material to lengths
- Sand edges smooth by hand, no machines
- Sand off any manufacturing lettering before painting
- Connect all parts to match your design
- Painting (allow to dry for 2 hours before handling)
- Take it home and add graphic design work for extra credit

-Use sander until almost good
-Finish sanding by hand
-Put grip tape on top of Tech Deck
-File off the extras
-Laser engrave bottom of wood
-Build trucks and wheels
-Glue trucks and wheels to the bottom
-Test tech deck

-Allow to dry for 24 hours

-Rough sand with belt and disk sander
-Finish sanding by hand
-Cut banding strip out of cardstock
-Glue banding strip to edges of platform and handle
-Allow to dry for 24 hours
-Sand edges of handle of platform
-Drill dowel rod holes
- Cut dowel rods to length
-Lock into place with wood glue
-Hot glue platform to handle
-Drill hole bottom of handle
-Add hook to handle
-Paint crossbow
-Allow to dry for 2-4 hours
- Glue clothespin to top
- Add rubber band to trigger and dowel rods
-Tape cardboard to stack of material
